[RexxLA] Mainframes: using ooRexx on the mainframe: how and why would you want to do that ?

Rony G. Flatscher

Hi there,

Paul Dunkley of New York has posted the second to last part of a tutorial of how to use DB2 on the mainframe using ooRexx (sic!).

He tries to address mainframe people and empowers them with the necessary knowledge that allows them to take advantage of ooRexx on the mainframe in order to interact with DB2.

Here is a link that brings up Paul's tutorial related parts that he has been authoring in the past twelve months:
<https://sourceforge.net/p/bsf4oorexx/mailman/search/?q=jdbc%20tutorial&limit=25&page=0&sort=posted_date%20asc>
Being able to take advantage of ooRexx on the mainframe and being able to interact with DB2 from there may be a big boon for many in the mainframe world.
